All single entry visit visa categories now have a three-month stay limit, and transit visas are now free. This decision was made by the Saudi cabinet.
The cabinet meeting, presided over by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, was held on Tuesday in Qasr Yamama in Riyadh, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
During the meeting, the Saudi cabinet made nine decisions, one of which concerned the single entry visit and transit visa.
The cabinet determined that transit visas would have a three-month validity period, but that stays of up to 96 hours would be free of charge.
The modification specifies that the free stay duration is 96 hours and that the transit visa is valid for 3 months. A family visit visa with a single entrance is valid for 30 days, whereas a visa with multiple entries is good for 90 days.
